The Bethel Public Library celebrated Founders Day on Sunday, September 23rd with outdoor games, crafts and parlor games from the Victorian era.
The story of library founder, Maria Parloa, was told by storytelling musician Lenny Levinstory.
In 1910 the library opened in one room over what was then A.J. Lynch's store on Greenwood Avenue. The new building opened in 2005.
