Thousands raised in memory of shooting victim

Suspect arrested in Ohio, to be extradited to Connecticut

25 year old Bethel resident Emily Elizabeth Todd was shot and killed on Sunday, December 9 in Bridgeport. In response to the shooting, her family has asked that donations be made to either Island Commons or the Connecticut chapter of Moms Demand Action, a national anti-gun-violence organization.

Bethel continues to respond. In the first week since the request, over $3,100 has been donated by over 40 individuals and families.

Police have arrested a suspect in Miss Todd's shooting in Ohio and are arranging extradition to Connecticut.
