Police Alert Community About Fraudulent Postcards

The Bethel Police are investigating several instances in Town where residents have received postcards alleging to be from a "Neighborhood Watch" organization.

The cards contain false accusations and information about various Bethel residents, claiming they have been arrested for various crimes.

The police note that the claims are completely false, and have issued a warning to local residents not to be taken in by a fake postcard claiming to be from a Neighborhood Watch organization.

Anyone receiving a fake postcard or having any questions or information about the case is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Bryce at 203-744-7900 x 114.
