How can you boost your brain and your mood? Enjoy creativity with friends! Countless studies have shown the benefits of gathering with others in a creative activity. By focusing on a pleasant task in a social setting, you develop hand-eye coordination and dexterity as well build new friendships.

The Bethel Public Library has always been the place to be curious, enlightened, and inspired through a wide range of services and programs. Our weekly Knitting and Crocheting Group and monthly Crafts for Adults are two of the many opportunities we offer.

Every Wednesday morning, between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., knitters and crocheters of all and levels of experience meet to work on their own projects or charity drives. Our friendly staff participates and is there to help! Registration is not required, so feel free to drop in.

On the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m., adults gather for the hands-on fun of making something for themselves or to give as gifts. The Library provides all the supplies, and a staff person is there to help. Registration is required to ensure enough supplies.

We hope you'll join us soon for some mood-lifting brain-boosting creative activities for adults at the Bethel Public Library.
