Bethel Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christine Carver has announced that the Teacher of the Year nomination process is now open.
"We have a great deal to be proud of here in the Bethel Public Schools," said Dr. Carver. "We work among the most talented educators and should recognize those who exemplify excellence in our profession."
All Bethel families are encouraged to nominate a deserving teacher. Nominators may choose the appropriate school on the nomination website tinyurl.com/s5j5z5u and complete the questionnaire to nominate a teacher for this honor. 2. The nominee should possess a superior ability to inspire learning in students.
3. The nominee must be a CT certified teacher who has achieved tenure in Bethel and is in good standing.
4. The nominee must teach children at least 50% of the time.
Nominations are due by January 15th.
