The Bethel Lions Club is offering Bethel businesses hurt by the Covid crisis a number of grants raised through donations at the virtual Bethel Concert, as well as a gift from the Bethel Lions Club and a sponsorship from the Bethel Police Benevolent Association.
Bethel businesses that are interested in applying should go to www.bethelconcert.com/grants to fill out the online application.
The virtual concert featured dozens of local performances by musicians who donated their talents to help local businesses. Billy Michael, Cynthia McCorkindale, Damon Wade and Ray Flanigan helped organize the performances, and the Bethel Business Network provided the promotion. The Bethel Community Gazette provided advertising for the event, and Nextwaving Solutions provided the technical platform for the concert.
The Bethel Lions Club will be reviewing the applications and providing the grants. The deadline to apply is November 24, 2020.
The concert is still online at www.BethelConcert.com.
