Art at the Library
By Bradley Koltz
Visitors to the Bethel Library can view "Watercolours" on the second floor in the Morris Gallery (Accessible Art Project). This features a collection of captivating photographic images by Colin Harrison.
In the display cabinet, look closely at the assortment of old bottles and glass transformers collected by Tom Borysiewicz, the Bethel Library's Adult Services Librarian. Then visit Tom at the Reference Desk and he will tell you more about them.
Art exhibit spaces generally are accessible during the Library's hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 10-8; Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 10-5; and on Sundays 1-5 (September to June).
The Bethel Public Library is one of a select group of member libraries of Fairfield County Art Spaces.
Artists and collectors who wish to exhibit at the Library are invited to get an application at the Reference Desk or to apply online at www.bethellibrary.org/policies/exhibits-and-displays-application.
