Happy Labor Day everyone! We have lots of great things happening in Bethel and at The Bethel Chamber.
Congratulations to Byrd's Books and The Toy Room for completing their moves. The Toy Room is now open and Byrd's Books will be open this Saturday. If you haven't stopped by to check out the new space, you really should. They're at 180 Greenwood Avenue and next door at 178 Greenwood Avenue.
A big Welcome to new business and new Chamber member Patricia's Presents. They'll be opening on September 15th at their new space at 164 Greenwood Avenue. That's when we'll be having a Grand Opening ribbon cutting at 11 am for them, as well as a Grand Re-opening ribbon cutting for Byrd's Books now at 178 Greenwood Avenue, Di Lillo Real Estate at 162 Greenwood Avenue, and The Toy Room, now at 180 Greenwood Avenue. Think of it as a huge, fun block party in downtown Bethel. We hope to see you there!
The folks at Broken Symmetry celebrated their nominations and plaque for 2018 Best New Business. Above is Chris Sanzeni and some of the team.
The Bethel Chamber has started a new college marketing intern program, and still has 1 opening left. If you know of a hard working student enrolled in a college marketing program who would like to get some event marketing experience, please have them contact the Bethel Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber is holding a new event this coming October 12th - OctoberFeast featuring Wine, Beer, other beverages, food from local restauarants and music. As of press time, ther are 2 spots left for local restaurants who would like to join. Please call or email the Chamber for more details.
The Chamber also welcomes new Chamber members Ann's Place, Culligen of Danbury and Wolfen 1 Dog Training.
Blue Jay Orchards is now open. If you can't decide which is better, their amazing apple cider or those delicious cider donuts, you can always get both..
